Websites and SEO for tradies
I build fast websites for trades and local service businesses that turn a phone search into a call: a tap-to-call number and a short quote form on every page, a page for each job you want more of, your licence shown and checkable, and your Google Business Profile matching the site. The same pages are built to be found in local search and cited in AI answers.
In our Australian AI Overview Index (scan of 23 October 2026, 8 trades and home services questions, 3 runs each), Google showed an AI Overview in 23 of 24 runs, citing about 8.4 sources each. An individual business's own website was among those sources in 20 of the 23.
Closest proof: a regulated professional-services firm, 32 to 870 Google clicks (28 days, May vs Oct 2026).

What goes on the site
A page for each job you want more of (not every job you can do), with what it involves, how long it takes and the areas you cover.
Your licence number shown and linked to the state's public licence check, such as NSW Fair Trading's licence check.
A Google Business Profile that matches the site: the same name, phone number and service areas.
A tap-to-call number and a quote form on every page, built for one-handed use on a phone, with each enquiry recorded against the page it came from.
The rules that apply
Licensing and the work you can advertise depend on your state and trade. I show the licences you hold, link them to the public check, and you approve every page before it goes live. Service-area pages go up only for areas you actually serve, in line with Google's Business Profile guidelines.
Most of your customers search on a phone, which is why a lead-ready site matters most. And if you are pricing one up: what a website costs in Australia, and why a static site has less to patch. Wondering about ChatGPT and Google's AI answers? Do tradies need to worry about AI search, and how to get your business on ChatGPT.

Who does AI name when your clients ask?
The AI visibility dashboard puts questions like these (shown here for Canberra; yours use your city) to ChatGPT, Grok, Perplexity and Google's AI every week, and shows which businesses the answers name instead of you:
- Who is the best plumber in Canberra?
- How much does a plumber cost in Canberra?
- Emergency plumber in Canberra

Questions your clients ask first
Examples of the questions each page is built to answer. Your list comes from what your own clients ask.
How much does it cost to rewire a house?
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
Do I need a licensed electrician to install a ceiling fan?
Who can fix a blocked drain today?
